1. YOUTH HELPLINE SERVICES
Provide 24/7 youth helpline service – call diversion after hours to office staff
MOU with approved counsellors for both online and face-to-face counselling
MOU with Vodafone Cook Islands for tollfree number and call diversion services
Set-up Empower Me social media platforms and website
Set-up youth, support partner and sponsor partner database

2. TRUANCY STUDENT SUPPORT
Provide support to the school/ INTAFF if required to locate/ check on student
Engage with parents and provide support where required to get the student back to school
Monitor progress – follow-up program for 6 months until student is on track

3. JOB SEARCH SUPPORT
Undertake job vacancy search with public and private sector
Provide support with CV and application developments, and interview preparation
Maintain good relationship with sponsoring partner and employer
Monitor progress until the youth member attains stage 3 and 4 of the 4-E Pathway (fully employed and performing well).

4. SMALL BUSINESS PATHWAY SUPPORT
Discuss business opportunity pathway with BTIB, Ministry of Agriculture and Ministry of Marine Resources
Provide support with business plan development and application
Engage business management training for youth with BTIB
Source sponsorship for training
Maintain good relationship with sponsoring partner and employer
Monitor progress until the youth member fully starts the business venture

5. TERTIARY EDUCATION PATHWAY SUPPORT
Discuss education pathway based on interest and last level of education achieved
Set education/training goals and plan for young person
Consult and engage with relevant agencies and training providers ï‚· Provide support with application process for USP/University
Develop check-list for students of criteria required to access student support services in NZ or at USP Campuses
Set-up student orientation with former university students
Provide support for the certification of required documents to satisfy university requirements
Manage relationships with the different agencies and service providers
Monitor progress until the student/young person attains level 3 and 4 of the 4-E Pathway (Graduation

6. DISADVANTAGED STUDENT SUPPORT
Discuss education pathway based on interest and last level of education achieved ï‚·
Set education/training goals and plan for young person ï‚·
Consult and engage with relevant agencies and CITTI ï‚·
Provide support with application process for CITTI ï‚·
Set up orientation session with former CITTI students who have successfully completed the same course. ï‚·
Undertake sponsorship support campaign for disadvantaged students
Sign MOU with sponsor ï‚·
Manage relationships with the different agencies, CITTI and sponsors ï‚·
Monitor progress until the student/young person attains level 3 and 4 of the 4-E Pathway (Graduation) ï‚·
If young person is not employed – progress with Support Program 2

7. PROBLEM SUBSTANCE, SUICIDAL, OFFENDING YOUNG PERSONS SUPPORT
Identify rehabilitation programs relevant to the age of the young person
Discuss new pathway with INTAFF, Corrective Services and other key agencies ï‚· Undertake counselling as and when required
Set-up motivational sessions with identified mentors or youth peers from agreed pathways
If agreed, pursue with Support Program 5 or 6
Manage relationships with the different agencies
Monitor progress until the young person attains level 3 and 4 of the 4-E Pathway (Graduation) from the Support Program 5, or appropriate level through the Support Program 6.

8. LIFE EMPOWERMENT SUPPORT
In-tandem with support programs 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 each young person will be encouraged to pursue sports programs of interest and rebuild their spiritual growth by joining youth groups of their choice
Manage relationships with the different organisations and service providers
Monitor progress until the young person attains appropriate level and his/her performance across the other Support Programs

9. YOUTH SAFETY SUPPORT
Provide security support for young persons around the movie theater, nightclubs on Friday and Saturday nights
Provide sober driver services to any person
Secure sponsorship for transport, fuel assistance , uniform, equipments and night meal vouchers for volunteers ï‚·
Sign MOU with Sponsor for support assistance
Manage relationships with the different organisations
Monitor progress and success of the program

10. SPECIAL NEEDS YOUTH SUPPORT
Provide general support to special needs youth and to special needs organisations where required.
Seek sponsorship for relevant support as required.
